Back in 2017 compared to Arianz Sanwood structural design process, RSIA structural building design process were more challenging, because on that year, SNI 1726 code for seismic loading were getting update and revised from previously SNI 1726-2012 to SNI 1726-2019 .
RSIA new building were demanded by owners to have smallest gap as possible with old building. To satisfied that demand, it was required to performed analysis to checking the drift combination value of old building and new designed building. The total drift value were then
implemented to the architect layout plan.
The final design of Structures are finally done with 30cm gap only between old building and
new building, with the gap were finished with rubbery materials.
